ELIGIBILITY/FEES: Each program has specific eligibility criteria.
PROGRAM OFFERED: Methadone maintenance treatment program provides services for adults who have a documented history of chronic opiate dependence. Project Carino is a federally funded program offering outpatient substance abuse treatment and support services for pregnant women receiving methadone maintenance. The Restoration Center offers detoxification and intensive outpatient treatment for homeless, serial inebriate adults. Intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment and education services for adults. The Sobering Unit provides services for public intoxicants brought into unit by law enforcement, crisis care unit, or Haven for Hope as jail and Emergency Room (ER) diversion. The Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Program provides individual and group counseling focused on recovery, and introduction to and connection with 12-step programs at Haven for Hope and in the community.

barbiturates, cannabis, cocaine/crack, heroin/opioids,

maintenance, problem assistance, referral and follow-up,
screening/assessment, standard outpatient, and support
TREATMENT STRATEGIES: Didactic
education, family intervention, family sessions, group
counseling, individual sessions, relapse prevention,
and self-help groups.
STAFF COMPOSITION: Program
director and clinical director on site. Certified addictions
counselors, counselors in recovery, Masters or higher
degree, volunteers, and salaried employees.
CONSULTANTS EMPLOYED ON A REGULAR BASIS: Pharmacist.
